Ghoomar is one the traditional folk dance of Rajasthan,India. More recently it has been performed by the very popular Deepika Padukone & Co., for the yet to be released movie ‘Padmavati’.

Thia dance is mainly performed by women with wearing flowing dress called ghagra while they are in the motion of describing a wide circle together.Ghoomar takes a special place for the people of the state and is mentioned with pride by Rajasthanis.No wonder it is a special attraction meant for occasions such as a grand wedding, a prominent festival, a social function etc.
